The International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI) is a not-for-profit effort to improve the health and quality of life for those afflicted with hip dysplasia. The IHDI is supported by the Arnold Palmer Hospital Foundation in Orlando, Florida with major sponsorships from Dan Whitney (“Larry the Cable Guy”) his wife, Cara and the Telefonica Foundation. With this combined effort, we have joined forces with several noted medical centers around the world to promote prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of hip dysplasia.
With approximately 1 million visitors a year, our website www.hipdysplasia.org has up-to-date information for physicians, parents, and patients about hip dysplasia for various age groups. There are videos, tips for parents, and brochures on "What is Hip Dysplasia, Preventing Hip Dysplasia, and Hip Healthy Swaddling. Going to the Contact Us section will allow you to ask questions that concern you, a parent, a patient, or a physician.
