Introducing the AdaptDx advanced dark adaptometer.
Early Insight Into Macular Degeneration And an Objective and Functional Complement to Structural Diagnostics
MacuLogix's AdaptDx provides valuable, early insight into AMD, RP and other macular degenerations. It provides an objective measure of retinal function, which is captured in a single parameter called the rod intercept. It is a valuable complement to existing imaging devices used in routine eye exams for macular disease assessment. This functional information adds to the structural information obtained from fundus photography and OCT imaging. This additional information is particularly valuable for early assessment, as biological function is often affected earlier than structural changes can be identified. The AdaptDx is easy to use and reimbursed under CPT code 92284.
