Cindy Goldrich is the Founder of PTS Coaching and Training.  She is a Mental Health Counselor and Board Certified ADHD Coach. She specializes in providing education, coaching and support for parents, educators, mental health professionals and support services specialists to help children with ADHD/ Executive Function Deficits succeed at home, in school, and in life. Additionally, she trains professionals to become ADHD Parent Coaches. Author of 8 Keys to Parenting Children with ADHD, based on her nationally offered workshop series, Calm and Connected: Parenting Children with ADHD©.  Founder of Long Island Professionals ADHD Consortium and on the Board of CHADD. Cindy provides professional development programs at conferences and schools nationwide. She has spoken nationally at conferences for CHADD, LDA, LISHA and related organizations.

    Parenting a child w/ ADHD is complicated. This workshop is designed to provide parents with an understanding of what their child is feeling and experiencing so that you can parent from a place of empathy, strength, and confidence....

  • Parenting is never easy.  And when your child struggles to manage expectations and perform appropriately, it can get confusing knowing how to respond most effectively. 

    When your child has ADHD and /or Executive Function challenges, it is vital that you understand the impact on learning, behavior, and development beyond inattentiveness, impulsivity, and hyperactivity.  Love and logic don't always work.

    Session 1 is designed to provide parents with an understanding of what their child is feeling and experiencing so that you can parent from a place of empathy, strength, and confidence.  The remaining sessions provide tips, tools, strategies and support for parenting complex children.

    I believe that anytime a child is diagnosed with ADHD, regardless of whether medication is recommending, parents must be given ADHD Education and Coaching.

    Speech Language Pathologists are an integral part of the support needed for children with ADHD/Executive Function challenges. Specific education, strategies, & support are needed to allow proper intervention & collaboration with educators & parents....

  • Professional Development

    ADHD affects approximately 11% of school-age children. 

    Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapists who provide support for students and families are also an integral part of the network of support needed for children with ADHD and Executive Function challenges.  Specific education, strategies, and support are needed to allow proper intervention and collaboration with educators and parents. Lack of effective resources, knowledge, and support that will help the affected child learn and succeed in the classroom.  Additionally, professionals are often caught between the parents, the child, and the school in terms of facilitating the best interventions for the child with ADHD.
