Orlando-area nurses report that ENA’s Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) drill helped prepare them for the tragic Pulse nightclub shooting that followed weeks later. Continuing this training, an MCI will be held during ENA’s Opening Session. This is a highly-attended event is clearly an important component of ENA’s conference, and an excellent opportunity to educate nurses in a mock mass casualty setting. The realistic drill will involve a tornado and include care using a helicopter, temporary tents, supplies, triage, and common emergency procedures used in emergency settings. This is a great opportunity for sponsors to be a part of training that truly makes a difference in the emergency nursing profession. Sponsors receive recognition in all conference marketing materials. Sponsorship, $15,000.
