Introducing PALATE – A New Way to Experience Taste

ICONPATH Curated Experiences is excited to present a sneak preview of their latest immersive product, PALATE at the 2017 IAAPA Asian Attractions Expo.
PALATE, heightens guests’ sense of taste by transforming a restaurant, bar or cellar door into a dynamic canvas that brings to life the venue’s history, explores the provenance of ingredients and celebrates the inspiration behind flavour combinations.
“PALATE enables guests to experience taste in entirely new ways by stimulating more than just their tastebuds. Each installation will tell a different story - visualising flavours with beautiful projected content that flows around the table and throughout the room, enveloping guests in a custom environment and soundscape that transports them to another world and providing unique tactile moments. The food or wine always remains the star while PALATE helps open guests’ imaginations to new sensations.” explains Michael Reid, Founder & Director of ICONPATH Curated Experiences.
PALATE has been in development for over 4 years, with a pop-up version first premiering at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia in 2015 in the form of an exclusive VIP dinner.
“The feedback we received during our trials was overwhelming and encouraged us to look for new ways to push the experience further by creating a format that could be presented for more than just a single night.”
Permanent installations of PALATE will be available from the second half of 2017 and will be the perfect pairing for any venue by increasing repeat visitation and social media engagement with a turnkey solution scalable from 5-500 guests.
