As a squadron of 20 brave pilots climb to the skies over the Atlantic Ocean, strange clouds gather in front of them. While unexplainable lights flicker around them their dials start spinning out of control. Surrounded by dense fog, thunder strikes which stalls their engine... “Mayday Mayday!”
No time is wasted when the train with anxious riders, snugly secured in their comfortable seats, dives swiftly out of the station towards the ground. After smoothly engaging the chain lift, the train is quickly hoisted up 40m in the air. Just before they reach the apex, track-mounted misters shroud both track and train in fog. While lights flash in the mist and sound effects play, the train slowly crawls over the top. As the fog hides the train from spectator’s sight, riders will only be able to see the pitch black tunnel down below as the train makes a nosedive for the earth!
Making its way down the Twisted Beyond-Vertical drop, the train reaches 95km/h inside a dark tunnel down below. Leaving no time to catch their breath, riders fly upside down in the first loop, quickly followed by two airtime hills. As the train dives down for the station, a low-pass Corkscrew Fly-Over flips the riders upside down while rushing over the heads of queuing guests in the station. The Corkscrew drops riders down only inches from a water surface, triggering a geyser-effect that befogs the train as it rushes upside down again through the upcoming Immelmann loop. A unique and spectacular show for everyone in the ride area!
Next up is a high-speed course full of forceful turns, rapid twists and airtime hills winding its way back to the station. The experience includes no less than 6 airtime hills, 5 inversions, and 4 highly banked turns.
Bermuda Blitz packs the adventure of a lifetime! Truly unique thrills and sights are thrown in the mix with high-speed hills and twists, never letting up until the final turn.
The Bermuda Blitz Thrill Coaster (opened in 2017 as the Lech Coaster) is special in the sense that it combines a great variety of ride elements (eg. rolls, hills, twists) in a very compact, yet fluid design. All elements are arranged such that the experience never becomes repetitive: the ride constantly changes direction, both vertically and horizontally, while forces change from positive to negative and back throughout the its course – it’s a fast paced, extreme experience.
