Description

Andretti Karting is taking food service to an elite level.  Experience the result when  good times are combined with amazing food for a total experience.  Discover the impact that a fresh centric menu created by award winning chefs can have and learn how Andretti's is able to leverage that impact. Receive an overview of Andretti's food and operation strategies and how it fits into their business model.

You will learn about Andretti's Menu planning, development and quality controls.  Gain insight into management, as well as managing high volume bar and alcohol through catering, company outings, and onsite service.

Schedule:

8:30 a.m. group arrives and meets in meeting room for presentation by C.O.O. Lee Pitts.

9:00 a.m. Break out into four groups to visit and rotate between the Kitchen, Catering Area, Bar Management (Skybox) and classroom learning in the Orientation Room.

10:45 a.m. 45 minute Q&A and refreshment break (Hot and cold appetizers, Coffee, iced tea)

FOOD AND BEVERAGE: Continental breakfast upon arrival, hot and cold appetizers, coffee, iced tea

LOCATION: Andretti's Indoor Karting and Games: 9299 Universal Blvd, Orlando, FL 32819

TRANSPORTATION: Buses depart the OCCC South Concourse at 7:30 a.m. Buses depart Andretti’s Indoor Karting and Games at 11:35 a.m. Ticket holders encouraged to arrive 15 minutes before departure time. Participants may drive separately to this event, free parking onsite.

NOTE(S): Must be 18 or older to attend. Separate ticket and Expo badge required for entry. EDUTours are only open to IAAPA members.

COST: $140 IAAPA Members. Tickets should be purchased in advance as space is limited and may sell out. Expo registration is also required.
