Rainwater Catchment Gutter Guard Eliminates Need For Other Costly Filters
ROCKLIN, California: Gutterglove Incorporated announces that its newly patented gutter guard filters out debris so well that there is no need for other costly filtration systems for non-potable rainwater catchment systems. Their LeafBlaster and EasyOn brand gutter guards are made from a fine stainless steel wire mesh that keeps out leaves, pine needles and even tiny roof sand grit from your gutter and rainwater collection tanks.
CEO and inventor Robert Lenney at Gutterglove says that it makes more sense to keep debris out of the first collection point of a rainwater catchment system rather than at the point of rainwater conveyance into the collection tank.
“A majority of homeowners use their gutters for collecting rainwater, so it’s more appropriate for keeping plant and roof debris out at that point,” says Mr. Lenney. “Only using filters next to the tank allows rainwater to mingle with plant and roof debris in the gutter while it travels to the tank, allowing opportunities for the water to get contaminated before it ever reaches the tank.”
