Regarded as the top female 3-Gun competitor in the world, Lena Miculek brings her skills and product insights to Team SIG SAUER. Miculek entered into the competitive shooting world in 2005 with five consecutive Sportsman’s Team Challenge Sub-junior and Junior Division national titles. Miculek won her first World Champion title at the age of 17 at the IPSC (International Practical Shooting Confederation) Shotgun World shoot in Hungary in 2012. With more than 60 major wins and 7 world titles in 5 shooting disciplines, Miculek is a force to be reckoned with. In 2017 she took home the gold medal at the IPSC Rifle World Shoot in the Open Division, Lady Category.

As a Pro Shooter for Team SIG, Lena focuses mainly on 3-Gun and pistol caliber carbine competitions where she dominates the leader boards.

When not at competitions or practicing, Mandy is employed with the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) and teaches defensive and conceal carry tactics. John “Tig” Tiegen served in the United States Marine Corps, and later worked as a security contractor in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq. He joined the CIA’s Global Response Staff, and was protecting the US Diplomatic Compound in Benghazi, Libya when Islamic militants attacked on Sept. 11, 2012. Greatly outnumbered, Tig and his fellow Security Team members held off repeated attacks for 13 hours, and were able to evacuate more than 30 Americans to safety. Tig coauthored a book about the attack, upon which Michael Bay based his 2016 movie “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.”

Cable grew up in Dallas, TX. Some of his earliest memories are of camping and fishing trips with his dad and brother. Cable’s passion to be spokesperson for the outdoor lifestyle didn’t end with the move back to the big city. Cable hopes to continue to be an advocate for sportsmen throughout the Lone Star State. This desire resulted in the creation of The Lone Star Outdoors Show.

Chris has been with Action Target for 6 years with the last 4 years developing target systems for ranges all over the world. As a product manager, he works with Law Enforcement, Military and Commercial consumers to develop cutting-edge products that meet training needs of all shooters. He has developed products and custom solutions for every major US military agency, FBI, CIA and US Customs and Border Patrol, and many foreign police and military units. His core focus over the last three years has been redefining the shooter’s experience through smart-connected products, reactive target systems and developing live-fire training curriculum implementing new target systems. Chris is involved in his local community where he was awarded Citizen of the Year in 2017 for his service to his county sheriff’s office and he also serves as a youth minister.

Jason Burton is the owner/operator of Heirloom Precision where he builds the finest quality 1911 pattern pistols. During his tenure as a custom 1911 builder Jason has had the opportunity to work with and build pistols for discerning clientele from all walks of life. His general firearms knowledge as well as his specialty with the 1911 pistol has made him a very sought-after craftsman and firearms industry consultant. Jason has always had an interest in fine weapons and related equipment and their practical application for everyday use. This passion extends to his lifelong pursuit of firearms training and seeking out the best possible tactics for personal defense/firearms-related scenarios. As a result, Jason has had the opportunity to train with and refine these skills with some of the most respected individuals and schools in the nation. These include Thunder Ranch, International Training Consultants, Vickers’s Tactical, Rob Leatham, Trident Concepts, EAG Tactical, Viking Tactics, and others. Because of his dedication to this field in 2011 Jason was invited to be a staff instructor for Thunder Ranch Inc. and has taught at both the Oregon and Texas facilities.

Team Springfield Captain, Rob Leatham, is one of the most-winning action shooting competitors of all time. Rob is a 30-Time USPSA National Pistol Champion, an 8-Time IPSC World Pistol Champion, an 11-Time NRA Bianchi Cup Champion, 8-Time World Speed Shooting Steel Challenge Champion, and the list goes on. Rob is also a valuable training resource for our country’s top military and law enforcement agencies, a job he is very honored to perform.

Kippi is a 3-Time USPSA Women’s National Pistol Champion. Throughout her shooting career, as a member of Team Springfield, she has also won multiple Gold, Silver and Bronze IPSC World Championship individual and team medals. Although she retired from the National and World shooting/competition circuit in 2011, she still enjoys competing for fun at her home range. Kippi is also a pistol instructor and finds it extremely rewarding to teach new shooters about firearms and firearm safety and loves introducing new competitors to the action shooting sports via her and Rob’s Practical Shooting Starter Course.

Steve Tarani is a former CIA full-time employee and protective services subject matter expert who served on Donald Trump’s pre-election protection detail. He is the lead instructor for a nationally recognized awareness-based training program offered to nearly 3 million members. Tarani, an active protective agent, is a Central Intelligence Agency and FLETC-certified federal firearms instructor who also provides services for the US Naval Special Operations Command, FBI National Citizens Academy Alumni Association, National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO), and others.

Steve Horsman

Steve spent 4 years active duty in the US Marine Corps; upon discharge he started his 27-year Law Enforcement career with the same agency in Arizona. During his LE career he spent his first 8 years in uniform, then moved to working undercover. Steve spent 10 years on his departments SWAT team, of which 5 years was spent as a Sniper. Steve also spent 21 years as a firearms instructor; the last 14 years were his full-time position. During this time, he became the lead patrol rifle instructor for his department, which deployed 80 patrol rifles. Steve started his competition shooting in 1988, and has been active since then, and is a Master class shooter in USPSA and IDPA. Steve has attended many firearms training schools, by some of the nations leading firearms trainers.

Clay Martin is a retired Green Beret from 3rd Special Forces Group, and a former USMC Scout Sniper with multiple combat tours. In addition to being an obvious combat ninja, he has competed nationally in 3 Gun and USPSA. As a Special Forces Close Quarters Battle instructor, he has trained countless US and allied forces. Clay is also the author of the smash hit, Last Son of The War God and works as the Tactical Editor for Guns America.

Rob Pincus is an educator with over two decades of experience helping others prepare to defend themselves and those they care about. He is the Executive Director of Personal Defense Network and the owner of I.C.E. Training Company. Over the last decade, his focus has turned to teaching others how to teach defensive skills.
