3M™ Diamond Grade™ Rail Car Markings Series 983 are made with a superior polycarbonate construction for maximum durability and carry a 10-year warranty. In addition to standard yellow and white, Series 983 markings are also available in fluorescent yellow. Studies have shown fluorescent materials provide enhanced safety during the hours of dawn and dusk when driver headlights may not be on, and especially during inclement weather including rain, fog or cloudy conditions.
