NITREX METAL INC. supplies nitriding/nitrocarburizing systems designed and adapted to the needs of aluminum extruders.
Our nitriding cycles have been developed over the last 30 years with extruders in over a hundred die nitriding installations worldwide. Nitriding is done automatically, and metallurgical results are repeated independently from the quantity or mass of dies. Advanced process control provides increased die life and productivity by eliminating spalling and nitriding defects.
In addition to our nitriding technology, our specially configured ferritic nitrocarburizing cycles offer the same quality of control, but further improve resistance to wear and oxidation for improved die life.
