OISTAT—International Organisation of Scenographers, Theatre Architects and Technicians generates, promotes and maintains a global network of specialist practitioners, educators and researchers who shape, challenge and imagine elements, events and environments for the live performing arts. OISTAT has members from 47 countries in 6 continents.
With commissions working in areas of Performance Design, Architecture, Technology, Education, Research and Publication & Communication, OISTAT enables the ongoing exchange of knowledge, sharing innovations and promoting international collaborations.

Dubbed ‘one of the most important works on scene design ever published,’ World Scenography series will be available on site at the OISTAT booth.
The first volume is World Scenography 1975-1990 (2012), for which editors Eric Fielding and Peter Mckinnon received USITT’s Golden Pen Award in 2014. Newly published is the World Scenography 1990-2005, involving more than 100 global contributors, featuring more than 400 theatre designs from 55 countries, is available at OISTAT booth #522.
