Have you ever found yourself starting a new job with little to no direction? Are you aware that the first year of employment has the greatest impact on an employee's tenure with an organization? Orientating a new employee to an organization is not only the job of the direct supervisor, but it is also vital that the rest of the organization does their part. In this session will discuss an on-boarding practice that is centered around making sure a connection is made with the employee. We will address how to integrate the individual in with your existing culture and make sure that they are in compliance with your policies. And lastly we will discuss the ways in which you can ensure that it is clear to the new individual what their role is within your organization.
