Sheetbend. Bowline. Trucker’s hitch. Clove hitch. Monkey fist. Knots are an essential skill in theatrical production, and learning to tie them correctly is a rite of passage for any technician. Learn from experienced knot-tiers how to tie the knots commonly used on stage in a hands-on, fun environment. All experience levels are welcome, and rope will be provided. (This session is always extremely popular, so arrive early!)

This session qualifies for 1.5 ETCP Renewal Credits.


Learning Objectives

Attendees will leave knowing the proper way to tie common knots, including, but not limited to, sheetbend, bowline, and clove hitch.
