This hands-on inspection course teaches those responsible for the inspection of fall protection equipment to make educated decisions on the suitability for use. It includes inspection of various fall protection equipment, including full body harnesses, shock absorbing and positioning lanyards, self-retracting lifelines/devices, and anchorage connectors. This hands-on class will involve physically inspecting the equipment, which will be provided. This session qualifies for .5 ETCP Renewal Credits.


Learning Objectives

1. Understand and identify different components involved in fall protection, such as harnesses, connectors, and anchors.
2. Identify key harness components.
3. Understand the inspection process and be able to identify failed equipment.
