Exhibitor-Hosted Webinars

Exhibitor-Hosted Webinars (EHWs) are commercially supported educational sessions held in conjunction with the ACT Annual Meeting. In 2021 they will take place as webinars to be held the week prior to the live Annual Meeting, over four consecutive days: Monday, November 8 – Thursday, November 11, at 12:00 noon each day. EHWs provide exhibitors with the opportunity to make a presentation, educate attendees, and promote their products and services, and/or demonstrate a new product launch.

Only companies who are exhibiting at the ACT Annual Meeting may submit an application to host an EHW. The programs must be open to all meeting attendees.  The information presented in the EHW must be balanced, based on sound science, and provide the attendee with an objective viewpoint. Proposals for EHW will be evaluated for the ability to provide educational content distinct from that in the official ACT Annual Meeting program. Applications will be subject to approval by ACT Education Committee chairs. 

The EHW fee is $1,250.00 per session. There is a limit of one session per exhibitor per day. A limited number of slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline to apply is August 6, 2021. 

The details:

  • Four (4) timeslots each day for four concurrent webinars per day.
  • 60 minutes per webinar
  • EHWs will be promoted as part of the Annual Meeting with a listing in the Program, on the ACT website, and an email broadcast message promoting all approved EHWs, and via signs at the live meeting with a QR code linking to the dedicated EHW web page.

    Once the Exhibitor’s application is approved:
     
  • Exhibitors have a choice as to whether to present a live or recorded presentation, using their preferred platform (Zoom, Teams, Webex, etc.)
  • Exhibitor will provide the link to the webinar, and ACT will post that link on the Annual Meeting website in a password-protected page accessible only to meeting registrants.
  • Exhibitors will provide their recording to ACT as an MP4 file, and they will be available on-demand via the ACT website during the Annual Meeting.
  • Exhibitors can make their recorded session available on their own website after the Annual Meeting.
