Jay Teske Leather Co. Announces New “Desk Collection”

KINGSTON, NY—Jay Teske Leather Co. announces a bold and classic new Desk Collection for your home or professional office. Jay Teske Leather Co.’s exquisite line of handmade leather goods has turned its focus towards your workspace so you can present in distinction, style with enduring quality. This classic “Desk Collection” contains exceptionally hand-crafted leather accents and accessories including a desk blotter, portfolio, clipboard case, accessory tray, pencil case, and tech case. This diverse collection has something for everyone, in addition to Jay Teske Leather Co.’s ongoing and popular line of handmade cases, beer and wine carriers, plant holders, and kitchen accessories.

Each item is individually made by master leathersmith, Jay Teske, Founder of Jay Teske Leather Co. “Leather brings a warmth, endurance and familiarity that other products can’t match,” explains Teske. “Each new product was carefully designed and crafted to bring that feeling into your everyday life.” Each piece in Teske’s line is hand-cut from American hides and vegetable-tanned in a century-old domestic bridle leather tannery in Pennsylvania.

    About Jay Teske

Jay Teske has been obsessed with making things for as long as he can remember. When he was eight, he asked for a set of power tools. In eighth grade, he got his first table saw. While working as tattoo artist in New York City in his twenties, he spent his downtime teaching himself to use a sewing machine (one of the few tools he had yet to master) so he could fashion leather seats for his beloved vintage motorcycles and scooters.  Since then he has shifted career paths but he has never shifted his focus. Everything he’s done has involved using his hands and an unstinting attention to detail.
