Welcome to the Henry Ford Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship!
The Henry Ford Health System is an 805 bed hospital located in the New Center area, near downtown Detroit. The Emergency Department (ED) is a level 1 trauma center with an annual patient census of approximately 100,000. The Emergency Medicine Residency training program is one of the oldest in the nation, which began training residents in 1976. It has a strong research program in stroke, heart failure, resuscitation, and the birthplace of Early Goal Directed Therapy (EGDT). It is affiliated with the Wayne State University School of Medicine (WSUSOM) and Michigan State College of Human Medicine (MSUCHM).
