Welcome from Reading Hospital Emergency Medicine Residency

Established in 2017, the Emergency Medicine Residency is fully integrated within the graduate medical education philosophy of Reading Hospital.  Since our first residency programs were established over 60 years ago, our commitment remains to prepare you to achieve your professional goals, while assuring attention to your personal well-being.

For those interested in Emergency Medicine, our diverse medical staff and high-volume, high-acuity department prove tremendous learning opportunities.  Yet, our program remains small enough to provide you with the personalized instruction from our dedicated Core Faculty, Emergency Medicine clinicians, and providers in many specialties.

The curriculum was designed to expose residents to a multitude of experiences throughout their three years of training ensuring that they receive the best clinical learning experience and providing them with the skills necessary to practice Emergency Medicine in any setting. This is a very exciting time at Reading Hospital and we are looking for a group of energetic, forward-thinking residents to be part of our program.
