With a 120-year legacy, PTA is the largest volunteer child advocacy association in the United States.

PTA is a powerful voice for children, a resource for parents and caregivers, and a strong advocate for public education.  PTA has millions of members, primarily parents and educators of K-12 students, affiliated with more than 24,000 local units throughout the United States and overseas.

PTA delegates from all congresses assemble each year at the National Convention to discuss and resolve mission-critical issues, exchange ideas and best practices, and serve as ambassadors on behalf of PTAs nationwide.
