“A Better Life Experience” or ABLE accounts give individuals with disabilities and their families a way to save and invest funds to help with disability-related expenses - things like accessible equipment, therapy, service animals and much more. Individuals receiving federal means-tested benefits can save in an ABLE account and keep their benefits. Earnings in ABLE accounts are tax-deferred and withdrawals are tax free, if used for qualified disability expenses.
