The Spina Bifida Association is dedicated to promoting the prevention of Spina Bifida and to enhancing the lives of all affected.
Over 177,000 Americans live with this birth defect, and the SBA works through a network of regional Chapters to provide local programs and resources to families and individuals touched by Spina Bifida. The SBA also undertakes national-level initiatives to network, advocate, and educate on Spina Bifida, working to improve standards of care for those living with Spina Bifida, and bring about public awareness of Spina Bifida.
