Jason Freeman is the Corporate Director of Security, Safety & Risk Management for Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. He is a 32 year veteran with the company. Jason's primary experience and focus over the years has been in Security, Safety, Risk Management & Operations. Other senior management rolls within the theme park chain also included Park President of Six Flags New England.
Jason is a 1988 Graduate of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Criminal Justice Training Academy obtaining the Certified Police Officer Certification. Jason was also a Massachusetts Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for 18 years. Jason holds current instructor certifications through DHS approved programs S.A.V.E. (Security, Awareness & Vigilance for Everyone) and P.A.T.R.I.O.T (Proactive, Terrorist, Recognition, Interdiction Observation & Tactics ). Separately from DHS he is Certified as a Verbal Judo (Tactical Communications) Instructor. He is also Certified as an ADA Coordinator.
Jason is currently the Chairman of the IAAPA Security Task Force Committee and has held Board of Director and President positions in numerous industry associations such as The American Society of Amusement Park Security & Safety Association (ASAPSS) and the New England Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (NEAAPA)
