Kate McConnell has spent more than 20 years telling stories in live spaces, from theater to theme parks, museums, brand centers, and more. During her more than ten years with Thinkwell Group, Kate led the creation of a variety of award-winning experiences including the permanent exhibits at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library, Google’s The Grove Experience Center, and attractions at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi and Lionsgate Entertainment World.
As Executive Creative Director with Cityneon’s Big Lab and Victory Hill Exhibitions, Kate leads a team of designers in the creative development of innovative and immersive storytelling-driven exhibits and experiences. Trained as a dramaturg, Kate places the guest perspective at the center, combining powerful narrative structures with playful uses of technology and environment to create experiences that are authentic, enriching, and transformational.
