Emily spent her childhood literally living at Quassy Amusement park. Summer months were spent in the care of her grandmother at a house located in the center of the park. As it was non-negotiable, teenage years were spent working. Emily held a variety of jobs during the summer ranging from change booth attendant to making cotton candy. After college Emily moved to New York City to begin a career in finance.
A few years later she returned to the park full time and headed up corporate outing sales and general office operations. After she and Eric married, Emily set off on a career outside of the park and spent 16 years in hi-tech sales in New York City.
After “retirement” in 2013 Emily returned to the park in a seasonal capacity where she continues to manage the park cash room. Eric and Emily have been married for 29 years and have two sons, Sam and Christopher who both live and work in New York City.
