Christopher’s keen understanding of the Food & Beverage business combined with his drive to consistently exceed guest expectations infuse daily operations and team development. As the Corporate Director of Food and Beverage/Corporate Executive Chef for Herschend Family Entertainment, he supports an exceptional team focused on creating a customer experience that also delivers to the bottom line, while creating memories worth repeating, and creating a culinary experience with unexpected great food quality.
His 25 years in the hospitality industry began in England, and include the famous Savoy Hotel and Stones Chop House. Management and Executive Chef roles include assignments at many well-known companies such as Walt Disney World, Marriott, Hilton, and Universal Studios. During this period, he heightened his skills in culinary operations and restaurant operations, including opening a major hotel, Universal Studios Japan, and two restaurants in CityWalk, Universal Studios Florida. Throughout his career Christopher has developed team members to achieve superior hospitality and business goals, and looks for ways to grow business, including increasing sales through private parties and catering for both on-site and off-site events.
Most recently Christopher was Director of Operations with Levy Restaurants catering to groups of up to 100,000 people. He has also gained significant experience supporting major events, including the USTA Tennis Open in Flushing Meadows, NY.
Christopher began his career with Herschend Family Entertainment in 2011. In this role, he supports all food & beverage/culinary operations for the company, encompassing departments in over 25 properties across the country. His responsibilities relate to every aspect of running major theme park food & beverage departments, maintaining world-class operating standards, and driving the Food & Beverage Operations at Herschend Family Entertainment to be among the top food service companies in the country.
