Chris Kenney is the General Manager of Traders Village in Grand Prairie, Texas. Traders Village is the largest all year flea market in the US. Chris has been in the industry for 10 years. Prior to being involved in the attractions industry he worked in retail management where he successfully led several projects to open new retail outlets and trained teams in store operations. He is a veteran of the US Army and earned the Eagle Scout Award at age 14.
Chris attended his first IAAPA Expo in 2016 and quickly committed to being involved. He became a certified attractions manager (ICAE) in 2020 and has been a Facility Operations Committee member for three years. Outside of IAAPA he has presented programs at other industry conferences covering fire safety, ADA compliance, and other operations subjects. Chris loves the industry and enjoys playing a role in providing fun and memorable moments for the millions of guests that visit Traders Village each year.
