Ms. Beckson serves as a senior executive/officer with The Morey Organization, Inc. dba: Morey’s Piers in the Wildwoods, NJ. In this capacity, she oversees the Corporation’s Human Resource Division and Government Relations. Denise obtained her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and her graduate degree from American University. She has spent 30 years in the amusement industry, dedicating much of her career to Morey’s Piers.

She is active and passionately involved in the industry-at-large and has served on IAAPA's Board of Directors; is the Past Chair of IAAPA’s Education Committee, Program Planning Committee, and Global Water Park Committee; was a Member of the 2017 Executive Finance Committee and currently serves on the Strategic Planning Committee, North American Government Relations Committee Chair and Global Government Relations Chair. She is a Senior Associate for Ellis & Associates as serves as a Director for their International Aquatic Safety School. Denise is also a member of the New Jersey Amusement Association Board of Directors.

Beckson frequently shares her expertise as speaker at industry conferences throughout the country and internationally; and she is frequently featured in and interviewed for publications including Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, Philadelphia Inquirer, Courier Post, Atlantic City Press, World Waterpark Magazine and IAAPA’s Funworld magazine. She regularly advocates at both the NJ State House and Capitol Hill for issues of vital importance to the amusement industry: DOS Summer Work Travel Program, Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Ride Safety, to name but a few.

Denise is an IAAPA Certified Attractions Executive and was previously honored with IAAPA’s Meritorious Service Award in recognition of her individual service to and for the association by advancing the IAAPA mission.
