Four new Extreme Engineering rides call for a celebration.

Extreme Engineering is excited to debut four new attractions at this year’s IAAPA Expo trade show in Orlando Florida during November 16th through the 19th. Almost 2 years since the pandemic started, IAAPA Expo is back in person, representing suppliers across the globe. Extreme Engineering will be at booth number 4800, the very first booth as you head down the escalator. From 3 new exciting suspended family coasters, a new adventure Parkour ride to all-new project locations, Extreme Engineering will have plenty to celebrate during the IAAPA trade show floor.

“We have the world’s first surfboard suspended roller coaster called Surfin Tsunami™, a brand new side by side coaster at faster speeds called Cloud Coaster Storm™, an interactive coaster called Sky Tag™ and our latest adventure ride called Parkour Around™, where people literally experience what is like to be Super Mario Brothers™,” states Phil Wilson, Executive Vice President with Extreme Engineering. The Surfin Tsunami, Sky Tag™ and Cloud Coaster Storm™ will be showcased at Extreme Engineering’s booth with interactive models, rendered video layouts to updated features reveled for the very first time on the show floor.
The Parkour Around™ will allow participants of all ages, and any ability, to experience running through exciting elements all while being attached to a patent pending assist device designed by Extreme Engineering. The assist device will allow participants to jump at great lengths, tall heights, and run at fast speeds. “This device transforms riders into a video game action hero. It is like being a real Assassins Creed™, Pitfall™ or Super Mario Brothers™ character. The possibilities with theming, IP and experience are endless,” states Wilson.

Sky Tag™ is an interactive coaster based on the award winning Cloud Coaster’s™ platform. The Sky Tag™ is a low-cost, all-inclusive interactive coaster specifically designed for FECs, including small theme parks, looking to provide a signature attraction on a low budget. “Our design team was able to create a turnkey attraction that is modular, low-cost, interactive, high capacity and incredibly immersive. The Sky Tag™ is perfect for FECs and small parks on a budget while it can also be scaled larger for theme parks,” states Phil Wilson.

“No more riding solo,” states Phil Wilson, Executive Vice President with Extreme Engineering. “Family experiences are meant to be shared. Our Cloud Coaster Storm™ allows for guests to ride together on the new side-by-side ride vehicle.” Extreme Engineering’s latest coaster uses enhanced technology from the award winning Cloud Coaster™ design. The all new track, ride vehicle and improved rider management system allows for a more thrilling, faster ride that provides higher capacities. Depending the configuration of the track layout, the Cloud Coaster Storm™ can achieve up to 500 people an hour. The Cloud Coaster Storm™ allows you to choose your experience on the fly with incredible theming. The suspended coaster can fully immerse guests, soaring them high above the sky into unique worlds. Optional lighting and sound are also available within the ride vehicle’s design.

The Surfin Tsunami™ is the only stand up surfboard roller coaster on the market. This radical roller coaster experience, utilizes all of the great safety and design features found in our three-time award winning Cloud Coaster™. Riders instantly transform into surfers, gliding on a suspended roller coaster surfboard with sharp turns and drops. The surfboard ride vehicle allows participants to stand up safely, easily adjusting to surfers of all ages. This suspended coaster can be designed to fit around existing structures, be designed to fit seamlessly indoors and designed to fit within existing attractions at an amusement park or resort.
