Envelop Protective Covers a product of Shield Technologies Corporation
Envelop Covers provide a shield of environmental protection
Envelop Covers were developed through the SBIR program with the goal of developing a material to replace covers then in use on US Navy ships. With over 1,100 cover designs available for items like topside weapon systems, shipboard assets, towed and self-propelled artillery, ground combat vehicles, and both rotary and fixed-wing aircraft, Envelop Protective Covers are the proven cover of choice for the DoD since 2003.
Envelop's multiple layers of material can include a weatherproof exterior shell, a breathable non-porous waterproof membrane, a Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI), and wicking layers. Impact resistant, insulating, and water absorbent materials can be added as required. This patented material is provided exclusively by Shield Technologies Corporation.
Envelop's short pay-back periods have provided Return on Investments (ROI) of more than 40:1 while reducing any assets Total Ownership Costs (TOC). All services have reported improved operational readiness and fewer maintenance man-hours due to Envelop.
