Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) develops advanced technological solutions and system prototypes to address the most challenging problems in national security, economic development and overall human betterment. Core research areas include complex and agile systems engineering, sensor design and integration, information management and cyber security, and defense technology development.
Our Applied Systems Laboratory (ASL) provides engineering solutions DOD-wide with emphasis on AMRDEC's Army Aviation, Missile and Space, and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs. Multidisciplinary research and development skills include:
- Aviation Systems Engineering, Open System Architecture implementation, CyberSecurity, Vulnerability, Survivability, and Counter Measures of rotary-wing and unmanned aviation systems
- Ground-based air and missile defense (GBAMD) command and control (C2) design, development, modeling, simulation and analyses
- Integrated air and missile defense architecture design, development & engineering
