The groups, in Alma, Alpena or West Branch, work out of one medical center and one clinic, and enjoy outstanding relationships with OBs in each respective community. Physicians and patients have immediate access to Michigan Medicine pediatric subspecialists. Pediatricians have a direct line to the physicians -- no waiting! Shared EMRs make communication seamless.
In any site, the pediatric practices are predominantly outpatient. Deliveries, inpatient care and nursery responsibilities comprise less than 10 percent of the practice.
