Safe Sleep is Hard. Your Baby is Worth It.
Charlie’s Kids advocates safe sleep to prevent infant death by sharing Charlie Paul Hanke’s story and providing resources for parents primarily through our board book, Sleep Baby Safe and Snug. This special book, available in English and Spanish, is used by doctors, nurses and health care providers all over the U.S. to teach parents about best practices for infant safe sleep. The AAP recommendations are weaved through the story in an easy to understand rythmic prose, with a Dos and Don'ts list on the back.
To date, our organization has distributed over three million books! With partnerships in 49 states, Charlie’s Kids is at the forefront of the safe sleep discussion. We know Charlie is truly saving lives and making a difference.
