Eastern Sierra Emergency Physicians
Eastern Sierra Emergency Physicians (ESEP) is a physician-owned, small group that provides Emergency Medicine physician services for Northern Inyo Hospital in Bishop, California. We live and work in one of the most amazing and unique locations in the country and have the pleasure of taking care of a diverse patient population. Bishop, California is located in the heart of the Eastern Sierra in a remote mountain town. Our physicians manage and arrange care for our amazing community in a resource limited but beautiful location. Our small, independent group is interested in recruiting like-minded physicians that prioritize patient care and professionalism but also appreciate a life outside of the emergency department. Our group strongly prioritizes promoting a healthy work-life balance that allows our physicians to mitigate the negative effects of burnout associated with our specialty. Most of our physicians enjoy recreating in the outdoors as Bishop provides world class access to rockclimbing, resort and backcountry skiing, mountain biking, high alpine climbing, backpacking, fly fishing and trail running.
