Learn about religious recognitions for Buddhist Girl Scouts.
The National Buddhist Committee on Scouting administers the Buddhist religious recognitions for GSUSA. The Padma Award is available to all Girl Scouts at the Brownie, Junior, Cadette and Senior/Ambassador levels. The program offers girls an overview of Buddhism as well as the opportunity to explore their own or other denominations. Girl Scouts need not be Buddhist to earn this award.
