Texas Independent Producers & Royalty Owners (TIPRO)
Established by indepedent oil and natural gas producers hoping to provide a unified voice for the industry, TIPRO is one of the country's largest oil and gas trade associations and the strongest advocacy group representing both independents and royalty owners in Texas. Since its founding in 1946, the Texas Independent Producers & Royalty Owners Association (TIPRO) has continuously represented individuals and leading industry companies from the Texas oil and gas industry. TIPRO advocates to preserve the ability for independents to explore for and produce oil and natural gas. The association is one of the oldest and largest oil and natural gas advocacy non-profit organizations in the state of Texas, representing nearly 3,000 members that include small family-owned businesses and the largest publicly traded independent producers, in addition to large and small mineral estates and trusts.
