  • The Montreal-based RFID solutions provider is positioned for major growth in the Middle East Leisure and Entertainment market.

    July 30 2018 – Montreal, QC – An established leader in the attractions, parks, FECs and leisure industry in the Middle East and Indian Sub-Continent, Amusement Services International LLC (ASI) is adding Connect&GO’s RFID solutions to its impressive portfolio. The two companies signed an agreement earlier this year while attending the Dubai Entertainment Amusement & Leisure Exhibition (DEAL 2018). Connect&GO offers first-in-class RFID solutions for access control, cashless payments and experiential activations designed specifically for the amusement park and leisure entertainment industry. ASI will help the Canadian company to expand its permanent installation business with major clients in the Middle East market.

  • Tipping Point Community used the Montreal-based company’s RFID solutions to facilitate fundraising at its annual gala

     

    August 22 2018 – Montreal, Quebec – Montreal-based RFID provider, Connect&GO, deployed innovative digital solutions to help San Francisco’s Tipping Point Community raise a record amount at its gala event held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium earlier this year. The annual event is intended to raise funds in support of Tipping Point Community’s fight against poverty in the Bay Area. By incorporating RFID technology at this year’s event, the organization raised more than $14M in just 14 minutes.

     

    A frictionless donating experience

     

    Each of the 1,000 high-profile guests was given an RFID wristband they could scan to make pledges for donations. During the live auction, guests simply raised their hands to have a volunteer visit their table with a handheld scanner. After selecting the amount, the guest scanned their wristband to make an instant pledge to donate. Each time a guest made a donation by scanning their wristband, their name instantly appeared on a giant screen at the front of the large dining room.

     

    Respected names within the arts and business worlds were present for the annual gala event, including: Kirsten Green (one of Forbes’ Top 100 Influential women), Evan Williams, Co-Founder of Twitter, Mark Pincus, Founder of Zynga, and Jimmy Garoppolo, the new quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers.

     

    “We are thrilled to see our technology being used for remarkable organizations such as Tipping Point, but also for foundations that are closer to home, like Montreal’s Science Center,” said Dominic Gagnon, Co-Founder of Connect&GO.

     

    In the coming months, Connect&GO aims to help foundations raise $100M for charitable causes. The company also intends to build upon its international growth with major projects signed with clients around the world.
