Walltopia has designed and engineered the largest indoor ropes course in the United States – Summit Ropes. The massive attraction, currently under construction in Loudoun County, Virginia, will have an 8000 square foot footprint, 120 obstacles, and a capacity of over 210 people at a time.
“We are really excited to be working on this one of a kind project, and can’t wait to see the final result from all our hard work,” said Ivaylo Sotirov, CEO of Walltopia Adventure USA, “Walltopia’s team loves taking on new challenges, and seeing our designs come to life.”
The giant ropes course features a fun southwestern theme, with integrated rock and a via ferrata (protected climbing route most often found in the Alps). The facility will house both an adult and children’s course and is expected to host birthday parties, field trips, and group and corporate events.
"We’re really trying to bring an outdoor experience indoors," explained Daniel Kasabian, Co-owner of Summit Ropes.
The ropes course is expected to open in late January.
