With a young population where 50% are under the age of 24 and a $646 billion GDP; Saudi Arabia is reshaping its future through a dynamic vision lead by an ambitious nation in a vibrant society and backed by a thriving Economy that opens up the world for dreams to come real.
In the way to achieve its 2030 Vision; Saudi Arabia has now launched an ambitious drive to become a culture and entertainment hub, and the government will pump nearly SAR 50.9 billion into this cultural revolution, while courting private investors and foreign partners for the rest of the investment.
Key projects include 16 entertainment complexes, an aquatic center and three other huge leisure hubs - all part of a bid to ensure three Saudi cities make it into the global top 100 for quality of life by 2030. The project, dubbed "Quality of Life Program 2020," is in part designed to encourage young citizens to spend more of their leisure time in the kingdom.
