  • Lifetime investment

    My wife and I own and operate a 7200 head wean to market barn under contract production with the Maschhoffs. We are a family operated business and included in the day to day operations are our three daughters ages 15,16 and 20. We purchased the track porter a few months after seeing it at the world pork expo. We were a little skeptical about spending the money for it as finances are very tight in the ag sector right now and being only two years into the new buildings. After a few months went by we knew we would be making a lifetime investment in this product. Having 4 women in the operation that I myself rely on greatly I couldn't afford any one of them to injure themselves lugging out large market ready hogs. This tool eliminated the work of removing dead animals from the 300ft long barns. I have built a small shelf for it as well to mount in place of the mast and the shield for hauling in bagged feed for starting the new pigs and those shelves work well for placing multiple 40-50 lb pigs and smaller on for removal too. It is very well made product and I think it will last many years if taken care of properly. It requires very little maintenance which is important for the busy lives we have. We also have a 80 hd cow calf herd and row crop about 800 acres and it gets extremely hectic around here balancing all the school functions and schedules along with the day to day priorities of the entire operation. This product helps with some of the workload and we know our investment in it is truly a good one.

    I manage a 5,000 head breed to wean operation that consists of multiple barns, alleyways, gates, stalls, pens, etc. The TrackPorter easily gets into spaces where other units cannot.
