Welcome to the 2020 Iowa Pork Congress.

The Johnson Engineering Group is an engineering firm specializing in pork production. From designing one of the first modern finishing sites in the Midwest to conducting an environmental and business assessment for one of the largest pork production facilities in South America, the principals of JEG have been helping pork producers build the infrastructure to supply the highest-quality pork since 1990. We have designed over 500 pork production facilities in the Midwest ranging in size from 1,000 head to 16,000 and have experience designing support facilities such as feemills and truckwashes.  

At the Johnson Engineering Group, we help clients obtain permits from county, state, and federal regulators to build their pork production facilities. We use the most advanced CAD and BIM tools to design and generate construction documents and oversee the construction process to ensure each project is built according to plan. We also help our clients be more efficient by reviewing the design and operation of their pork producion facilities, including enviornment review and improvements, facility layout and design, and manure management.
