Kappa optronics develops and manufactures application-specific cameras with more than 30 years of experience in the field. We are one of a few EN / AS 9100 certified camera suppliers worldwide. In particular Kappa specializes in aerospace cameras. One focus lies on FTI cameras for the telemetry market.
At the ITC we will present our new FE 320, which is the latest version of our Flight Eye camera family for all interior and exterior FTI purposes. Kappa developed the FE 320 Flight Test Camera Kit in close cooperation with our major OEM flight test clients. The result is an easy-to-use modular system that provides maximum flexibility on location: just combine the modules as needed - no preparation required. The system is designed to fit perfectly into the telemetric infrastructure and provides outstanding modularity with small exchangeable heads for great flexibility (dual streaming, synchronization, PTP; full HD- and SD-Video via SDI; H.264-compressed HD streams per Ethernet; onboard recording of all video data; DO-160; Mil-STD-704).
