GroGuru

The GroGuru Wireless Underground System (WUGS) allows a 40" AquaCheck probe to be buried under the soil permanently.  Data is transmitted wirelessly to an above ground relay where it is sent to the cloud via a radio network.  The data is then accessed via the GroGuru InSites web or mobile apps where growers receive agronomic insites to make profitable decisions.  GroGuru provides crop-specific irrigation management templates to ensure that the right amount of water is applied at the right time to maximize yield, whilst minimizing inputs.  

GroGuru Insites is a powerful online platform that takes soil moisture, weather and irrigation data to provide profitable irrigation decisions.  Data can be imported from our own GroGuru WUGS or Fox systems; or it can be imported from the leading soil moisture data providers via API.  When this soil moisture and root growth information is combined with as-applied irrigation data from the leading center pivot manafacturers, it provides a very clear picture of soil moisture conditions and the farmer irrigation practices.  The inclusion of ClearAg (DTN) crop models allows predictive weather and crop water use information that is used by the GroGuru InSites A.I. engine to make irrigation recommendations that increase yield and save on inputs.  Growers typically get a 10-20% increase in yield whilst getting a 10-20% reduction in input costs.
