Datalys Center for Sports Injury Research & Prevention
At the Datalys Center, our mission is to collect and translate-often in collaboration with others-sports participation, injury and treatment data into more effective programs, policies, rules, and education aimed at preventing, mitigating and treating sports injuries more effectively. We are a non-profit organization 501(c)3 that was formed in Indianapolis in 2008 by the National Collegiate Athletic Assoc., Biocrossroads and the American College of Sports Medicine. The Datalys Center is involved in several other national initiatives that advocate safer and healthier playing environments ranging from youth and professional sports to the physically active. These include safer playing standards in youth sports, patient centered health outcomes and sports related concussion.
