The Andy Talley Bone Marrow Foundation and Be The Match partner together to operate the "Get In The Game. Save a Life." (GITG) initiative. GITG utilizes the power of collegiate athletics to recruit students to become potential blood stem cell or marrow donors by joining the Be The Match Registry. To date, 150,000+ individuals have been added. Over 850 of those registrants have gone on to donate and save a life! GITG is one of the premier community engagement programs in the higher ed arena. We are excited to share our mission with athletic trainers and look forward to getting AT's across the nation in the game!
