10storymath is an all-new math supplement for grades 4-6. Lessons start on our digital platform, but quickly move to a hands-on, collaborative experience in which students use math tools, manipulatives and everyday objects as they advance the action of a fun story. Students apply their emerging math competence to real-world, concrete problems.
Designed at the intersection of academics and SEL, 10storymath teaches 4th-6th grade standards while developing skills in adaptive problem-solving, resilience, teamwork and creativity. The program uses 4E Cognition as a design framework, drawing on current research in cognitive science to create learning experiences that are embodied, social, and technical. Coaches, specialists and teachers can use 10storymath as a resource to advance their professional learning goals.
The program works in a range of contexts, including in-school, afterschool and summer school.
