Early & Modern Firearms Company, Inc. is proud to introduce this new addition to our Great Western II (GWII) line of single action revolvers! Manufactured and engraved by FAP F. LLI Pietta in Italy, this beautiful piece adds elegance and intrigue to our Great Western II line-up. Naming a single action as beautiful and unique as this was a fun challenge! As we discussed just who might have carried such a beautiful weapon back “in the day”, our conversation turned to the wealthy and famous high-stakes gamblers of the Old West. Wild Bill Hickok, Lottie Deno, Wyatt Earp, Kitty LeRoy, Madame Moustache, Bat Masterson, and Doc Holliday would have all been proud to carry such a beautiful “piece”.
In 2002, EMF Company turned to the Italian gun manufacturer, FAP F.LLI Pietta to manufacture EMF’s Great Western II line of single action revolvers. The joint efforts of these two great companies have resulted in the production of the finest single action revolvers on the market today! EMF’s Great Western II (GWII) single action revolvers, are true to the originals with the floating firing pin in the hammer. They feature hammer forged steel barrels, and frames that are drop-forged, and then CNC machined. The GWII’s have wider rear and larger front sights for faster sight acquisition. This combination of traditional esthetics with the best modern technology makes the Great Western II the most sought after, durable, and reliable single action on the market today.
The GWII “Gambler’s Royale” is elegantly engraved with a Victorian scrollwork on the contrasting black barrel and the polished steel frame. It is further accented with a one-piece black grip. Available in .357Mag or 45LC, EMF’s GWII “The Gambler’s Royale” has a 4 ¾” barrel. This is a “must have” for your collection!
