New EXUDE Illuminator by Optical Dynamics is 50% more efficient than any flashlight and provides target acquisition ranges up to 400 yards!

Introducing the revolutionary EXUDE Direct Light Illuminator, by Optical Dynamics®. Unlike “flashlights”, which disperse light by reflecting it off a mirrored surface which results in dirty, broken and inefficient light, the EXUDE Illuminator uses four state-of-the-art lenses to project a direct and powerful beam of pure, clean light.

The flashlight was invented well over a century ago. It was dubbed a “flash” light because the unreliable light source would flash on and off. By definition, a flashlight disperses light by reflecting it off a mirrored surface – a design that is flawed in that reflecting light is very inefficient. The fact is, a flashlight loses over 50% of its potential light-projecting performance through reflection.

Now, over a century after the invention of the flashlight, there is finally a device that projects light directly. The EXUDE Direct Light Illuminator from Optical Dynamics. It’s the un-flashlight!

The revolutionary EXUDE illuminator features a patented Collimated Amplified Lens System (CALS)—four state-of-the-art lenses to focus and project a beam of light that is pure, clean and powerful. Unlike a flashlight, which disperses a wide cast of distorted light (which may be okay for a walk in the woods or down a dark hallway), the light from an EXUDE is a narrow beam of clean, intense white light that lets you see tremendous detail up close and at great distances. Situations where reflected light simply does not perform well.

There are three key advantages to EXUDE’s Direct Projection Technology. First, there are no rings, dark spots or distracting light spill, all characteristics of flashlights. Reflected light is dirty because it is distorted by the impurities of the mirrored surface. That’s why you commonly see rings and dark spots. Reflected light also spills far and wide, which is distracting. The direct light from an EXUDE has no impurities and does not spill, so there is more total light projected onto the subject.

Second, EXUDE gives you greater target acquisition range and unparalleled detail whether up-close or at great distance. Direct light travels as a linear beam so it’s concentrated on the subject and there is no spill to the sides to distract viewing. The direct light acquires a target at far greater range (up to 400 yards) and captures amazing detail up close.

Third, EXUDE’s direct light is projected at its natural wavelength which means it will not spook animals. Predator hunters have discovered this unique attribute which allows them to illuminate their hunt without having to use red or green filters for fear of alerting wary game.

EXUDE is a high-performance illuminator that can potentially save lives in search and rescue missions. It’s an unmatched tool for professional investigators or inspectors who cannot afford to miss important details. Because of its utterly blinding brightness, EXUDE is ideal for security purposes. EXUDE offers performance advantages to predator hunters, because it will not spook game. But, EXUDE will also make life easier for you in your day-to-day activities, wherever you need to see distance or detail.

The EXUDE Direct Light Illuminator is available in two models. Both feature a USB rechargeable battery, three brightness settings and are made of machined aircraft grade anodized aluminum.

New Caliber Emerges for the Unsurpassed Umarex® Gauntlet®

FORT SMITH, AR (December 12, 2018) - Umarex USA Inc. announces a major addition to their Gauntlet line of Pre-Charged Pneumatic (PCP) air rifles: the .25 caliber Gauntlet. The Gauntlet offers the larger .25 caliber for the same market driving MSRP of just $299.99.

The .25 caliber Umarex Gauntlet provides up to 27 consistent, powerful shots from one fill of its high capacity 13-cubic inch regulated tank. The 1,900 psi built-in regulator delivers consistent velocity from shot-to-shot for long, flat shot strings. This translates directly into outstanding accuracy for a successful day of small to mid-game hunting or serious target shooting.

With up to 27 consistent shots at 895 feet per second with a 25 grain pellet, the .25 caliber Gauntlet is clearly unmatched when combined with its inherent accuracy, flexible features and 45 foot pounds of generated energy. Shooters can have confidence in the energy transfer into its target without variations in velocity due to changing tank pressure—the “shot curve” characteristic of unregulated PCP air rifles. As long as the built-in pressure gauge remains above 1,900 psi, the regulated Gauntlet generates rock-steady velocity and terminal energy.

This multi-shot, bolt-action repeater uses economical, easily loaded, interchangeable 8-shot magazines for rapid fire or follow-up shots in the field. One magazine is supplied with the Gauntlet and additional magazines are available as an accessory.

The Gauntlet’s 3,000 psi air tank is easily filled using the built-in, standard Foster quick connect fitting and the Umarex SuperFill hand pump or a high pressure electric air compressor. For extended shooting sessions, a simple pressure release key allows the compact regulated air tank to be removed when pressure is low. It can be replaced with another, fully-charged air tank providing even more consistent shots, without the need to carry bulky high pressure air re-fill tanks or a pump.

Fully moderated by its full-length shroud, the Umarex Gauntlet is incredibly quiet. Both stealthy backyard target shooters and serious hunters benefit from its ability to provide rapid, near-silent, full-power follow-up shots on demand.

To maximize your accuracy capability with the Gauntlet, it has an integral standard 11 mm dovetail rail for scope mounting. Umarex USA suggests using the 4-16x44 Gauntlet Scope from Axeon Optics, which includes rings ready for mounting to the Gauntlet. The easily adjustable stock comb locks into position for the ideal cheek weld, whatever your physique. Target shooters will appreciate the included single shot tray for the ultimate in precision shooting.

At 8.5 lbs, the Gauntlet is a steady and comfortable air rifle. It balances well lending to its outstanding tack-driving accuracy. The stock’s integral sling studs allow for an easy carry in the field.

Everything about this air rifle has been optimized to set the new standard in affordable .25 caliber PCP performance. The Umarex Gauntlet is a complete shooting air powered platform. Extra magazines and a high pressure air Hand Pump with an optional air drying assembly are offered by Umarex USA and aftermarket air tanks are also available from a variety of retailers.

With this new .25 caliber from Umarex Airguns, Umarex USA really has thrown down the gauntlet. This Gauntlet is the PCP air rifle every hunter and survivalist desires!

    UMAREX Unveils the First
12-Shot Repeating Gas Piston Pellet Rifle

Fort Smith, Ark. (January 17, 2019) – Umarex USA unveils the revolutionary Umarex® Synergis—the first 12-shot repeating gas piston pellet rifle, during SHOT Show 2019 In Las Vegas, Nevada. The Umarex Synergis is the first gas piston under lever rifle to offer an in-line repeating action,  fixed barrel, and removable magazine. The patent-pending Airflow Boost Technology (ABT) with auto-loading probe mechanism automatically seats a pellet from the magazine into the chamber upon cocking and reaches 1000 FPS with lead pellets.

Its 12-round RapidMag Under Lever System combined with its patent-pending Airflow Boost Technology makes the Umarex Synergis the easiest, most convenient and technologically advanced .177 caliber pellet rifle available.

“Our engineering team has worked tirelessly to achieve all identified goals for this rifle. They’ve certainly exceeded each one,” said Steve Lamboy, Senior Director of Strategic Product Development. “First it’s a true repeater, providing 12 shots from a removable auto-indexing magazine. Second, it’s an under lever, meaning the fixed barrel and breech block are never out of line with the air cylinder as it would be if it were a break barrel. That means inherent accuracy. Third, its innovative cocking mechanism automatically advances the magazine and loads and seats a pellet into the breech chamber. Fourth, it achieves a velocity of 1,000 feet per second through our engineering collaboration on our new Airflow Boost Technology. And finally, we incorporated a full shroud to silence the rifle like you’d find on quality PCP air rifles, like the Gauntlet.”

“There’s not another gas piston repeating pellet rifle that’s as fast to shoot as the Umarex Synergis. It’s going to reinvigorate the pellet rifle market.” Said Richard Turner, President of Umarex USA, Inc. “It has functionality like never before seen in a pellet rifle, especially for one that retails for $169.”

Operating the Umarex Synergis is simple. Load the magazine, which received its style and functionality cues from the popular Umarex Gauntlet magazine. Pull down on the under lever and insert the magazine. When you return the lever to its original position under the barrel, the RapidMag System seats a pellet precisely into the breech. After you’ve shot the first pellet, just actuate the rifle’s under lever again, which advances the magazine and automatically inserts another pellet.

Axeon Second Zero Opens Up Long Range Possibilities

FORT SMITH, Ark. (January 16, 2019) – The Axeon® Second Zero® is a precision optical device that gives any rifle shooter an instant additional zero distance whether in hunting or tactical application. It works with all optical sights from rifle scopes to dot sights.

Shooters typically zero their rifles with one consistent load at a known distance. The Second Zero provides your optic either a 4.3 or 11.5 MOA adjustment just by flipping its prismatic lens in front of your rifle scope or red dot. For many popular rifle loads this equates to an additional zero of 330 or 530 yards.

A 3x9 scope dialed in at 100 yards makes a .30-06 a versatile hunting tool. But what happens when a deer breaks through the hedgerow more than 320 yards out? While some hunters are well versed in ballistics and bullet drop, many don’t readily keep that information accessible or can recall in that short moment of “trophy opportunity”. The Second Zero offers a simple solution that eliminates the need for hold-over. There’s no complex math involved. Simply flip down the Second Zero precision lens, put the crosshairs on the target, and pull the trigger.

The Second Zero, a patented prism optical device invented by John Baker of TACOHMQ, will revolutionize the way shooters achieve accuracy at long distances. It mounts forward of a traditional scope or other optic such as a red dot or ACOG. Optics function normally when the Second Zero is not being used. When engaged, the prisms of the Second Zero, shift the image by its pre-determined MOA value to compensate for bullet drop. Simply place the crosshairs on the target just as you would at 100 yards.

Mounting the Second Zero is simple. Attach it to the bell of a scope or install the rail mount model on available rail space in front of an optic using its quick connect mount. The prismatic lens shifts the optical image without magnification, so the size of the target doesn’t change. Because it shifts the target image optically (not mechanically) before a targeting device "sees" that image, the shift works when paired with any optic. Precision alignment is not required. The shooter sees the same image before and after the Second Zero is employed.

The Second Zero is the fastest way to compensate for bullet drop at extended range. In less time than it takes to read this sentence, and without looking away from the target, a shooter can instantly pull up the Second Zero. Available online and at gun dealers for an MSRP of $79.99.

  • UMAREX Introduces Replica Ruger 10/22 Air Rifle

FORT SMITH, Ark (January 17th, 2019) – UMAREX, the “King of Replicas”, is introducing an officially licensed air rifle replica of the ubiquitous Ruger® 10/22® at the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show January 22-25, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The air-powered variant of this infamous rifle comes after the 10/22 has graced shooting ranges around the country for over five decades.

The Ruger 10/22 Air Rifle from UMAREX is true to form except that it is powered by two 12-gram CO2 cartridges instead of the ever-popular .22 LR round.

Umarex USA’s President, Richard Turner, expressed, “The 10/22 has earned its place in shooting history and we couldn’t be more excited that Ruger backed our development of the Ruger 10/22 Air Rifle. Lots of people pulled a trigger for the first time with an airgun and if it wasn’t an air rifle, it was a 22. Very few guns can lay claim to that fact.”

The level of detail in the Ruger 10/22 Air Rifle transcends its looks. “Umarex did a great job in developing the 10/22 Air Rifle,” said Ruger Vice President of Marketing, Rob Werkmeister. “We are truly impressed by the level of authentic detail and craftsmanship incorporated into this airgun, and we are proud to be affiliated with a company that shares our passion of providing quality products and exceptional service for shooters around the world.”

The 10/22 Air Rifle from UMAREX was designed to shoot .177 caliber pellets, the most readily available and most popular selling airgun caliber for recreational shooting. The magazine is authentic in shape and the magazine release pushes forward in authentic fashion giving you the ability to pull the magazine from the receiver. The magazine holds a red, removable rotary clip that accepts 10 flat or round-nosed pellets instead of the traditional .22 LR cartridge and is cleverly held in the magazine by a sliding lever, which allows for the easy exchange of a pre-loaded clip available as an accessory.

The bolt, while seemingly there for aesthetics, since it does not load a pellet into the chamber, serves to cock the rifle when actuated, giving the 10/22 Air Rifle a delightful three-pound trigger pull. The weight of the trigger and its identical overall size makes it an ideal rifle for first-time shooters whose natural next step up is the Ruger 10/22 chambered for .22 LR.

Loading quality UMAREX CO2 into the rifle is easy. With the twist of a button at the rear of the butt stock the buttpad slides out to reveal an incorporated Allen wrench. That wrench is used to remove a long cylinder inside the stock that punctures two, 12-gram CO2 cartridges when installed back-to-back within the stock of the rifle.

Beyond its function, the 10/22 Air Rifle is slightly lighter than the firearm, but looks the part. The sights are authentic in style, including the folding rear sight, and the rifle has authentic looking sling attachments incorporated. The receiver is ready to accept after-market rails that fit the Ruger 10/22 so that you can customize your Ruger 10/22 Air Rifle with the optic of your choosing.

SHOT Show attendees and sporting goods buyers can shoulder the authentic Ruger 10/22 Air Rifle replica at UMAREX booth #15062 at the Sands Expo Convention Center during show hours.

The Ruger 10/22 Air Rifle is manufactured by UMAREX under license from Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc.

UMAREX sporting airguns, optics, airsoft guns, long distance lights, and accessories are available at local sporting goods dealers and retail locations around the world. Sporting goods dealers may order UMAREX products from many established outdoor goods distributors.
