MWG Apparel designs manufactures and distributes FR Clothing
MWG Apparel is based in Winnipeg and designs, manufactures Flame Resistant clothing since 1928. MWG has been audited by the Canadain General Standards Board and determined that MWG is ISO 9001:2015 compliant. MWG has for the last 20 years been manufacturing CERTIFIED CGSB 155.22 Wildland Forest Fire Fighting Clothing and we curently supply the majority of these clothes to the Provincial Agencies in Canada.
MWG has developed our own line of Flame Resistant fabrics that exceed the standards set by NFPA, CGSB and CSA. These fabrics include Flex Safe for base layer underwear, RipGuard and ComfortWeave for shirts, pants, coveralls and unlined jackets, Stormshield for rain wear and winter wear as well as Blocker Fleece for fleece jackets, hoodies and liners for 3 in 1 systems.
