JKKS Industries (Rice Applicator)
We have developed one of the first fire nozzles designed to help tackle the problem of lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles. Created by firefighters our low-profile nozzle, the Rice Applicator, gets large quantities of water directly on the battery case helping to reduce the effects of thermal runaway. It is designed to accept couplings from around the world. Lifting of the vehicle is not required, and the nozzle can be deployed by a single firefighter. The applicator has multiple other uses; exposure protection, parking deck protection, decontamination, undercarriage cleaning, protecting compressed gas tanks and basement fires to name a few.
